Bose has launched second generation of multi room wireless speakers at its 50th Anniversary celebration in New York on Thursday. The systems is built with Deezer, Spotify and iHeartRadio service feature compatibility along with an application for improved and simplified streaming
The two models are here known as SoundTouch 30 Series II ($700) and SoundTouch 20 Series II ($400). The two larger models have been designed to bring home theater at your door step. This portable model also includes an in-built rechargeable battery that can be hauled around where ever it is needed. Bose has also added a black color option to the existing white finish for this year.
Digital Trends had already reviewed the original SoundTouch 20 that too at the beginning of this year, and it performed well in terms of sound quality department, its shortcomings were there in the number of apps which it supported. However Bose has claimed that its new system is easy to use than before, and is designed to offer listeners an unprecedentedly simple experience.
Bose is one of the new-found competitor of Sonos with their own take on wireless multi-room and wireless speaker systems a product concept which Sonos had introduced and has been nurturing for the last 10 years. However, Sonos found many new competitors which are struggling hard to develop such systems that are simple and stable as their own.
