Its new upgraded line of products i.e. HEOS HS2 (stands for HEOS Series 2), that is recently announced by the company will come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, high-resolution audio support and many more high-end features. It means that the new series of HEOS wireless speakers will be compatible with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as well, along with the support of high-resolution audio.
Keeping in mind the increasing trend of wireless multi-room sound systems, the leading premium home audio products manufacturer, Denon has introduced both software and hardware up gradations in its new line HS2 wireless audio speakers.
Users will now be able to listen to uncompressed WAV, ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) and FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) files up to 24 bit/192 kHz. HEOS HS2 is now equipped with an improved processor i.e. ARM A9 1.25 GHz processor combined with 512 MB of flash memory and 256 MB of RAM. In the near future the listeners will also be able to listen to DSD and AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format) file formats on their favorite multi-room system. And, as per the news updates, Denon representatives have confirmed that HS2 or HEOS Series 2 products will remain at the same older prices.
The company has taken care of the ease of users by making these new products backward compatible, it means that the new HEOS HS2 products will be compatible with older HEOS products. Only one HEOS HS2 device will be able to stream Bluetooth content on all the multi-room devices over Wi-Fi network. Use this functionality either to play the same or different music in different rooms.
HEOS now becomes capable to stream music from almost all the major cloud music sources such as Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, Tidal, SiriusXM, Soundcloud and Amazon music etc. Either users can select the best music source or they can stream music from their personal smart devices as well such as laptops, Macs or NAS drives etc. Overall, Denon has announced this new line of products to improve the features of the devices and to increase the ease of the customers.
